2022 is HERE!
Here is hoping that the challenges faced by our client leagues, our group, coaches, players and each of us individually are
now in the rear view mirror. Thanks to everyone who help make last season possible. Hoping that 2022 brings lot's of great
football for everyone!
SFFOA IS MISSION DRIVEN
Do you know what the SFFOA's mission is. Every top notch organization has a mission that is encompassed in its Mission Statement.
Our mission simply stated is to provide well trained, qualified and impartial contest officials to area youth football leagues.
How we get there is entirely up to you our members. We each have to set out to honor our mission and to achieve this we must
be focused and be of a single vision. Our Vision as an organization can be broken down into three short statements "Make
It Safe, Be There, Get It Right"

OFF SEASON COLLEGE CAMPS AND FHSAA CLINICS ARE AN IMPORTANT PART OF OUR IMPROVEMENT
Officials if you have any plans to advance to the next level or are really serious about just getting
better, make it a point to go to an off season camp or clinic. A camp or clinic with a field component is a great way to have
someone at a higher level or more experience evaluate your skills and offer constructive feedback to help you improve. It
is not all field and class work we do have some time to get to know some of our brethren, and some others from higher levels
and other parts of the state or country. A word of caution though, go with an open mind and while there is a chance that you
may be discovered and get an opportunity to work at a higher level, the most important reason you are there is to get better!
Over the last few years SFFOA members Mike Brown, Carlos Guzman, Dongray Johnson, Kevin McLeroy, Gabriel Quintana, Clem Quinones,
Ariel Rodriguez, Yurier Sanz, Bill Steiner, Soren Morales, Tony Barrial, where hired by college conferences after attending
one or more camps during the off season. Take advantage of them and talk with them about their experiences if you a chance
and are serious about moving up.
Keep your eyes on this section and we will try to generate a list of camps and dates for our members.

RALPH LEWIS MEMORIAL BLOW THE WHISTLE ON CANCER
CAMPAIGN
The SFFOA and GMACFOA have learned first hand that cancer
knows no bounderies and comes in many forms. In Ralph's memory we will continue to work towards
finding a cure for the disease that took him from us way too soon.
We will never give up Ralph until we find a cure!

Our efforts have only begun click here to make a donation that will be made in Ralph's memory to the Blow
the Whistle on Cancer.

HELP US KEEP YOU IN THE LOOP!
Off-season is generally filled with happening good and not so good. Some of us got married, still
lot's of kids being born to our members and sadly some of us lost a loved one. Last year we were touched by the
death of a colleague and hopefully hurricane season will spare us as well.
We try to send out an e-mail sharing the good news or expressing our sorrow whenever we now something.
It may also be something worth posting on our website. Please let us know when there is something worth sharing so we
can keep others in the loop.

SFFOA TO CONTINUE USE OF ARBITER.
Officials will now be able to track both youth league and high school assignments using arbiter
game assignment software. Arbiter the first name in game assignment software has been used by the GMAC for all major
sports for three years now. The SFFOA got off to an fun start when youth league came around but we persevered and we
were able to take advantage to assign over 1,400 games during 2016. Members will continue to see their assignments, accept
or decline their assignments and update their availability on their home computer and in the age of the phone app it has a
telphone application for an additional charge for use on you iPhone, Android or Blackberry. Esential for our members
is a working and useable e-mail address as we will no longer support the assignments page on this website. Leagues and
teams will also be able to view their schedule and assignments using the software
